MONTHLY TREATS FROM SATIN MOON

Japanese Noodle Salad
Compliments of Cathy V
½ head shredded cabbage(red and green)
3-5 green onions, diced
1 Cup sliced mushrooms(approximately 5 large)
¼ Cup sunflower seeds (salted)
¼ Cup browned slivered almonds
Optional: Peppers, Broccoli, Snap Peas
Dressing:
1 Package of Japanese Soup mix
1-2 Tbsp. Soya sauce
¼ Cup Balsamic vinegar
1-2 Tbsp oil
½ Tsp sugar
1 Tbsp. water
1. Toss all vegetables and seeds.
2. Just before serving, mix together dressing ingredients
and pour onto the salad.
Toss to evenly coat greens with the dressing, and serve.
