Monthly Treats From Satin Moon

 

FOOL’S CRISPIES
So easy a fool can make them

  • ¾ c honey or agave syrup
  • 1 c peanut butter or almond butter (I like chunky)
  • 1 c unsweetened chocolate or semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c walnuts or peanuts or a mix
  • 3 generous cups of crisp rice cereal

1. Melt the honey or agave and nut butter in a large pan.

2. Bring slowly to a boil.

3. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until melted.

4. Add nuts and cereal and stir to coat

5. Press into a greased 8 x 8 x 9 inch pan OR egg cake pan (Egg shape for Easter or heart shape for Valentines)

6. Chill well before cutting or turning over.

May be glazed with melted chocolate drizzles!
