Merry Christmas to all

Dear Friends,

We wish you all happiness, joy and peace during this holiday season. We sincerely thank you for our six wonderful years with Satin Moon. It has been such a pleasure and adventure to be a part of the quilting community on the web and in Victoria. It has been a great delight to meet you in person in Canada and abroad, on the phone and on line. Our lives have been fantastically enriched by you and our great pleasure in serving you.

We will keep our home base in Victoria , but will venture south for the next 3 months, first to Tucson and the Tucson Quilters Guild show, and then on to Colorado. On the way and at our destinations we will be visiting family and friends. At this point we are not sure what we will venture into next, though I will be looking into international teaching opportunities. Gordon will keep on quilting, I am quite sure!

We are happy to entrust Satin Moon to Linda's youth and enthusiasm and know that she will nurture new quilting inspiration and fun for you. As many of you know Fort Street , the location of the new shop, is a wonderful area of bakeries, antique shops, book stores, Island Blue art store and fabulous eateries, like our favourite Blue Fox. So much to enjoy!

Linda will keep you informed of the shop opening via the blog and e-letters.

The holiday season is upon us! Saturday is the parade, tree lighting ceremony and the new skating rink.! Centennial Square has never been so family festive.

Due to the predicted stormy weather and high winds tonight, and in deference to the West Shore guild meeting, we have cancelledthe Secret Santa night.  

We now have the SANTA CELEBRATION, with 40 % off all regular priced items (except consignment items) through December 23.

Many of you know that Satin Moon will be changing hands, and moving to a new location. So, we are seriously reducing the inventory, all to your advantage, a parting gift to you.

We have created many wonderful kits for quick Christmas decor, gifts and a new series of floral kits for post Christmas relaxation! All at 40 % off!

Satin Moon at the Government St. location will close December 23, so if you would please use your gift certificates before December 23.

Due to the change of hands of the business we will be issuing no new gift certificates, and not be placing any special orders.

On Tuesday Dec 6, afternoon, Michelle is offering a free informal session on Tunisian and Crocodile stitch, bring you afghan hook and join us for a pleasant afternoon!

One final request for The Cridge pillow cases, they are very loved by the respite program families.
