Fabric, color and design are what makes kid quilts exciting. Most of the quilts in this book feature one tremendously cool focus fabric and a few relatively calm coordinates or accent fabrics. Using fabrics in this way enhances rather than detracts from the focus fabric. There are so many wonderful fabric choices today that we are continually inspired to keep sewing more quilts for kids. Kids quilts are so "do-able"! they allow us the freedom to use fun fabrics, patterns and colors that we may not usually work with. The quilts in this book range in size from crib to twin. We find that quilts this size actually get finished.
